CHARACTER INFORMATION

Hato Higashikata (東方 鳩 Higashikata Hato) is the air headed eldest daughter of Norisuke Higashikata IV, and the sister of Jobin, Joshu and Daiya Higashikata. She has found success outside of her family’s business as a model.Walking Heart enables her to project long spikes from the heels on her feet, allowing her to pierce enemies from an extended distance or using them as a means to climb easily, even straight up vertical walls.

to the main cast.Hato, uses her modeling and online platform to boost the sales of the Higashikata’s fruit business, even modeling for seasonal products they offer from time to time.Hato is more involved with the sales and promotional aspects of the business, while freelance modeling on the side, not associated with the company.

PART 4 : side character.Hato Higashikata
is a side character to the main cast.
She has no major involvement to the plot.Hato spends her days working alongside Aya Tsuji in her salon. She is one of the beauticians for Aya, along with Mitsuba who helped her get the job. She rarely models but does enjoy her job at the salon.

HEADCANONS

  • She takes appearance very seriously. If you are gonna hang out, you gotta look well dressed.

  • She wears revealing clothing, her reasoning is always, it's being advertised in the magazines so it's not inappropriate-

  • She is non-committal, and has attachment issues- after Damo and all that mess she refuses to settle down, she still sometimes beats herself up for becoming too attached and manipulated by him, even if time had passed.

  • She loves to dance; I feel through her modeling career she would receive connections for other forms of entertainment. I always pictured her to be a dancer or in mv's from time to time.

  • Hato is good at reading people, she may only be a freelance model, with no agency- but on social media she is an influencer, using her platform for the Higashikata fruit company and sales, along with Mitsuba who sometimes probably still models.

  • She's an airhead for sure, out in her own world half the time, doesn't take serious situations seriously at all- laughs when nervous.

  • Walking heart, although in canon the stand only affects her shoes and heels of her feet. I feel that the spikes come from her fingers and fingernails, forearms and elbows, and isn't limited to her high heels.

  • also when Hato does something really mean or is getting a bit goofy or careless, Heart, which she nicknamed the stand will manifest and may even send hato flying into the ceiling by her heels, and not let her down till she apologizes.

WRITING SAMPLE

The sounds of laughter and rock music played throughout the kitchen. At this time, it seemed everyone stayed far away from that part of the house, unless they wanted to be covered in makeup powder or even be forced into becoming one of Hato’s new ‘test subjects’.The massive array of makeup brushes, sponges and different colored powders littered the kitchen table. When each brush was placed down it left behind a small cloud of purple or blue dust. For once, Daiya agreed to let Hato do her makeup that morning, and she couldn’t refuse.Joshu also seemed glad that he was spared. Besides the different brushes and materials spread all across the large table, a small collection of used wipes slowly started to grow. With a steady hand and almost all her concentration, Hato held the eyeliner firmly between her slender fingers. “Daiya, can you stop moving so much? You’re making this hard to put on… I don’t want to jab you in the eye by accident.”Having a younger sister was a perfect opportunity for trying new makeup or hairstyles, for shoots or for fun. If it looked bad, at least it wasn’t on her face. Hato would never admit that to anyone, but it was true. If it looked weird, Daiya couldn’t see it anyway so it wasn’t a problem.“Are you almost done…?”“If you stopped moving around so much, maybe.. I would’ve been done already.”Hato felt herself becoming more annoyed by the second. It was always the eyeliner that caused the most issues. It was a shame Daiya couldn’t see all the hard work and effort in the end, but it was a somewhat fun bonding experience for Hato mostly. But the longer Hato took to put on the eyeliner, she could see Daiya’s face twist as if she was holding something back. All she could do was keep her head still. Whenever there was an upcoming photo shoot, Hato would pick a look from a sheet of paper the sponsor or product requested first. Joshu or Daiya, were her usual unwilling subjects. Jobin also, and Mitsuba sometimes helped, despite Jobin’s constant complaining. That way if it looked bad she’d be able to tell or fix it from there. But finally she got the eyeliner even on both sides, placing the cap back on and the small tube down on the counter she leaned back just to double check.“We’re done! That wasn’t so bad right?~” a grin made its way to her lips as her tone turned singsong like. She took one final glance over her art work, reaching for her phone to take a picture. “Wasn’t so bad for you..” her sister mumbled in reply to which she laughed. “Oh shut it, you had fun. You look good also, I took a picture to show everyone when they come back home.” which earned a smile from them both. It counted as a success in her book, as she started to clean up the mess.
